Marango : Ukrainian slang term for a gypsy troubadour. Marango Pie is a multi-piece band playing traditional Ukrainian roots music with modern swing sensibilities. With roots that run deep in the Ukraine, seasoned (with garlic) musician Ernie Miciak had a passion: to create a band that could arrange and perform the traditional folk music of the Ukraine, giving it a rootsy contemporary feel, while staying true to the genre. The band is currently evolving into a full multi-instrumental group.

Personnel:
Ernie Miciak - mandolin
Trevor Payne - guitars
Rachel Malenka - fiddle
Robert Kochan - drymba, flute, whistles, and percussion
Alan Dunn - bass
Linden Dahler - drums
